Diageo makes female executive chart
Diageo is the only drinks company to be named in a list of the top 50 companies for women executives.
The drinks giant has been included in the list published by the US-based National Association of Female Executives.
The annual list recognises organisations that have policies and practices in place to encourage women's advancement and have a significant number of women in leadership roles.
Eliana Zem, senior vice president for human resources at Diageo North America, said: "Diageo believes diversity is a key element in the success of its business today and in the future.
"Gender is one component of this larger diversity initiative and we value the contribution of all of Diageo's female employees."
Diageo initiatives include a mentor programme for top-level female executives, focused recruitment of women employees and internal panel discussions on gender issues in the workplace
