He recently moved to the region, where his key objectives will be to increase sales in export markets including the UK, implement organic viticulture and develop new wines from Empedrado, a new winemaking region south of Concepción.
Torres, a fifth generation winemaker, said: "My family and I are delighted to move to Chile and embark upon a new personal and professional chapter in Curicó. We are lucky to have a great team behind us at Viña Miguel Torres which undoubtedly still have a lot of potential for growth, particularly in export markets".

It will also continue to work on and encourage responsibility in environmental policy and producing organic wines.
