The London International Wine Show 2003, which promised to be the first mass wine-specific consumer event in the UK, has been cancelled. The five-day event, due to take place from 28 February-2 March at London's Olympia, was pulled after its parent company, Whole Life Expo Ltd/ Organic Events Ltd, went into receivership. The event was being organised by John Rhodes, founder of two other consumer shows, The Organic Food and Wine Festival, and the Whole Life Festival. It is believed these two events will also not take place. We have informed all exhibitors and debtors,' said Rhodes, in a statement, adding I am sorry that this has happened.' He was unavailable for further comment.
