Chilean blends acclaimed in blind tasting

Chilean wines have held their own in a blind tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon blends in London, attended by sommeliers, journalists, wine buyers and Masters of Wine.

Chilean wines have held their own in a blind tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon blends in London, attended by sommeliers, journalists, wine buyers and Masters of Wine.

The tasting was hosted by the president of Viña Errázuriz, Eduardo Chadwick, who was joined by Peter Richards and Steven Spurrier.

Chadwick said: "Our objective is to show the consistent high quality of our icon wines in the presence of the world's benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

"At Viña Errázuriz, we believe it is essential to educate people about Chile and to present our wines on the world stage in the company of the acknowledged best.

"I am delighted that once again Chile has demonstrated that we belong on the same stage as these icons of the wine world."

The results were:
