New brand ambassador for Beefeater
Chivas Brothers has named Tim Stones as brand ambassador for Beefeater gin in the UK market.
Meanwhile the brand's global brand ambassador, Dan Warner, will move to the US to join newly-appointed US brand ambassador Jacques Bezuidenhout, focusing on the super-premium expresssion Beefeater 24.
Stones was previously working alongside Warner in a freelance capacity and is said by Chivas to possess "a wealth of drinks industry experience".
Beefeater brand director Nick Blacknell said: "At Beefeater we pride ourselves on having extremely close links to the trade and offering them an outstanding level of education about what makes Beefeater so special.
"The appointment of Tim and Jacques really emphasises the importance we place on our ambassador programme across the world and we are confident that this investment will help propel Beefeater to even greater heights in 2009."
