The UK's largest importer of French wines is preparing to showcase its key producers at this year's France Under One Roof tasting in London.
Thierry's will have a five-stand presence at the event dedicated to its French portfolio of wines.
Dominique Vrigneau, Thierry's buying director, said: "We are the UK's number one French wine importer and although our main portfolio has expanded to include all the major wine regions of the world, France is still at the heart of what we do.
"France offers the consumer an 'embarras du choix' and our broad portfolio reflects that. We work with over 30 producers across France, from small, family-owned wineries to the large co-ops, with strong brand-builders like Skalli, best known for their Préference brand, Rhône, the UK's sixth largest French brand and modern French wine brand, Chamarré, who are pioneering high quality, cross-regional blends.
"Other strong performers include the modern and forward-thinking Mont Tauch, the Languedoc's passionate and talented Gérard Bertrand, Bordeaux-based Producta, where modern winemaking and brand-building are showing great results and, one of Champagne's most modern and innovative producers, Nicolas Feuillatte," Vrigneau said.
