T.G.I Friday's has announced the winner of its Bartender Championship competition which it launched earlier this month with SKYY vodka.
T.G.I Friday's has announced the winner of its Bartender Championship competition which it launched earlier this month with SKYY vodka.
Bartender Vinny Read, who works at T.G.I. Friday in Haymarket, London, beat contestants from all over the UK to claim the title of the group's UK Champion Bartender.
Read, who beat finalists from five regions, will now go forward to the European championships in Prague in October. If successful in the European contest, Vinny could be representing Europe as a finalist in the T.G.I. Friday's World Championship in the USA.
The runners up in the competition were Kriss Alexander from T.G.I. Friday's in Fareham, Surrey, and Kriss Lawton from T.G.I. Friday's in Guildford, Surrey. Richard Darroch from Bluewater T.G.I. Friday's in Dartford took first place in the Best Flair Bartender competition.
