Global launches premium brands division

Global Brands has launched a premium brands division as it looks to grow its portfolio of premium products.

The independent drinks manufacturer and distributor is most famous for its VK Vodka Kick brand, which helps the company with its £70m turnover a year.

However, it wants to increase penetration of the company's range of premium brands, including Myers's Rum, Goldschlager Schnapps, Sobieski and Sobieski Estate Vodkas, and Ypioca Cachaca.

A team, which will be based in central London, will look to expand Global Brands' presence in "style" bars nationwide.

A premium portfolio brochure has been produced, which will be used by the team as they visit bars across the country giving advice on how to make the most out of the range of products, focusing on drinking occasions.

Ian Cunningham, premium brands division head, said: "Our brand ambassadors will host a session with individual venues, discussing the merits of the brands in detail, covering off everything from its heritage, production process, taste, mixability and drinks design."
