ALCOHOL ON THE BRAIN

The Portman Group Sixth Top Table Talk lecture will be given by leading brain scientist Baroness Susan Greenfield, who will speak on Alcohol on the Brain: Myths and Mysteries'. The lecture will take place on 12 February at the Royal Institution in London. Admission is by ticket only. Greenfield will present her theory on how alcohol works on the brain to produce subjective feelings of pleasure. She will also discuss how individual lifestyles make a difference to the effects of alcohol, and spell out the implications for public policy on alcohol.
