Kevin Styles, the 29-year-old marketing director of Thomas Cook, has been appointed director of sales and marketing by First Quench. Styles is said to have been instrumental in Thomas Cook's renewed focus on the in-store environment, customer experience and brand proposition, with the introduction of new store formats, a major cultural transformation programme, leading the introduction of a new brand identity and overseeing the Time to leave the country' advertising campaign. Styles starts at the beginning of March. He succeeds Paul Vines, who joined the company on a six-month interim contract and is moving on to pursue other interests.
