Aspall has announced plans to double the size of of its cider and vinegar business over the next five years.
The move will see the family-owned business redevelop its Debenham production site in Suffolk by tripling the speed of its bottling lines and increasing storage capacity for its premium range of ciders and vinegars.
Aspall, producers of the Aspall Suffolk Cyder range, is in talks with local apple farmers about how it can increase its capacity by planting more apple orchards, including its own 90-acre organic orchard.
Barry Chevallier Guild, Aspall director, said: "We have decided to accelerate the development plans for Aspall and set some ambitious growth targets over the next five years."
Peter Moore has recently been appointed managing director to help drive the changes through. Moore was previously managing director at PJ Smoothies.
The Aspall business has been producing cyder from the same site since 1728.
