Revolution vodka bars in property deal

Published:  23 July, 2008

Nine Revolution vodka bars sold to property investor, and then leased back

Revolution has sold nine of its vodka bars and leased them back, in a deal yielding its parent company Inventive Leisure more than 17m.

The deal with specialist property investor Aprirose means Inventive Leisure no-longer has any freeholds within its portfolio of some 60 bars and clubs across the UK.

The company leased-back nine Revolution Vodka Bars in Huddersfield, Lancaster, Leicester, Lincoln, Liverpool, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Wolverhampton, plus two in Manchester.

The Revolution chain specialises in branded and flavoured vodka. The chain, founded in 1996, makes 30 flavours of Vodka from its own factory, located near Manchester.
