Scotch distillery teams up with hotel chain

Scotch whisky producer Tullibardine has teamed up with Macdonald Hotels to allow guests to sample the spirit at each of the company's 15 venues.
Hotel guests will pick up a voucher for a free tour of the distillery, which is located in Perthshire, in return.
Bob Masson of Tullibardine said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for us, as a small independent distillery we are keen to be associated with the Macdonald Hotel Group and we hope that our whisky, and the gift voucher, will enhance the visitor experience."
The distillery also features a shop and a caf, both under the name 1488, in honour of King James IV, who celebrated his coronation by purchasing beer from the brewery situated on the same site as the distillery is today.
