American wine recommendation search engine Snooth has launched an application for the fast-growing Facebook Internet social network.
Integrating Snooth into Facebook is an important step,' said Philip Hames, founder of the wine location business.
The company, launched in 2006, claims it can exactly match an individual's wine purchasing requirements.
Facebook account holders will be able to access Snooth's database, which offers ratings for hundreds and thousands of wines' worldwide.
Site visitors will also be invited to rate and review wines, discover what others are buying, and find retailers selling specific wines.
The company has indicated that more features will be added to its facility, and that there will be tie ins with other partners.
