Pol Roger director dies

David Rhodes, an associate director and sales manager for Pol Roger, died last month, aged 65.
Rhodes joined Pol Roger Ltd in April 1999 as sales manager for the North of England and was made an associate director in January 2006 in recognition of his unstinting service', said Pol Roger sales director Nick James.
James added: David was a man of legendary stamina and natural bonhomie, and he will be sadly missed by both his customers and those who knew him in the wine trade.'
The cause of Rhodes's death is unknown.
