Champagnes & Chateaux tap Richard Nunn for new role

Published:  14 January, 2026

Premium wine distributor Champagnes & Chateaux has announced that Richard Nunn will be appointed to the new role of off-trade key account manager. The well-known industry figure joins the company following 35 years with Louis Latour.

Nunn will be responsible for developing distribution of Champagnes & Chateaux’s premium wine portfolio amongst indies, ‘prestige retail’, merchants as well as regional wholesalers.

Among the wines Nunn will be seeking to grow distribution of are Champagnes Thienot and Canard-Duchene, those from the Bordeaux properties of Dourthe as well as producer Kressman, and Clos de Los Sieite, Michel Rolland’s Argentine wine.

Nunn has worked in the wine business since 1984. At Louis Latour he initially managed London on-trade and prestige retail for the Burgundian producer, subsequently he was promoted to the UK board, his remit focusing on national accounts, independent retail and wholesale accounts.

Newly onboarded MD at Champagnes & Chateaux, Charles Taverner commented: “Richard brings with him a wealth of experience, expertise and extensive market knowledge that will be a great asset to Champagnes & Chateaux UK as we develop our distribution in the UK regions.

“His contacts and comprehensive understanding of the UK fine wine market perfectly complement the team’s on-trade success in London, and I am very excited to be bringing such a well-known and personable member of the UK wine trade into the team as we develop our expansion plans in these sectors.”

Nunn himself added: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Champagnes & Châteaux and look forward to developing the distribution of such an excellent portfolio of wines across the Independent Retail trade in the UK.”
