Toptable expands

Toptable, the restaurant search and booking website, has bought the City eating group for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition has given Toptable 61 inter-linked sites, including London-eating.co.uk. Karen Hanton, CEO of Toptable, commented: There's only a small overlap between the two companies and with London Eating we can reach a younger audience'.
Toptable has recently added Rome's eateries toits site, which already includes Paris and New York. Future plans include the introduction of mobile phone services and internet forums in early 2007.
