Ochoa moves to Pol Roger

Bodegas Ochoa of Navarra and Bodegas Miguel Merino of Rioja will be represented in the UK by Pol Roger from this month.
The move from previous distributor Freixenet by mutual agreement' has been made in order to move further into the on-trade and independent sectors, alongside the multiples.
A spokesman for the Ochoa family said: We are extremely grateful to the Freixenet team for their contribution to the success now enjoyed by our wines on the UK market. Amicable links will remain between our companies, not least in the domestic market in Spain, where our close co-operation will continue.
The change in the UK is dictated simply by the style of distribution and coverage we feel is needed to carry our brand forward.'
