Crush signs three from Oz

Published:  23 July, 2008

Crush Wines, the fast-growing distributor launched earlier this year, has launched an Australian protfolio.

Three estates have signed up with Crush: Foxeys Hangout, (Victoria); Wallaroo Wines (Canberra); and Cuttaway Hill (Southern Highlands).

Chris Ellis, director of Crush Wines, commented: The wines are positioned at the premium level. Each of the wineries is family run with a dedicated and committed team to ensure the wines have regional individuality.'

Foxeys Hangout specialises in cool-climate Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Shiraz from Mornington Peninsula.

Wallaroo produces wines on a 10 hectare vineyard in Canberra, producing Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling.

Cuttaway Hill is situated in the cool-climate region of the Southern Highlands in New South Wales. Three vineyards make up the estate, producing a full range of varietal wines and blends.
