Hayes joins Whyte & Mackay

Whyte & Mackay has appointed Richard Hayes to the position
of global marketing director as the company announces it is investing 100 million in relaunching its key brands worldwide. He will lead marketing for key brands Whyte & Mackay, Jura, Vladivar, The Dalmore, and Glayva.

The move follows a nine-year period at Allied Domecq where Hayes was European marketing director for core brands. He has a proven track record in building brands outside of the UK and in growing equity in mainstream UK brands. Hayes, who takes up a permanent position at the company's Glasgow headquarters, commented: We are committed to growing the brands' values in both the domestic and global markets.'
