Published:  12 May, 2017

The world’s third biggest Champagne brand has appointed a new managing director to lead the company into the future.

Christophe Juarez will take the top job at Nicolas Feuillatte, replacing Julie Campos, who left the company after six years in total and two as managing director.

Juarez will report to chairman Véronique Blin.

Most recently, Juarez’s was CEO for Unicoop, a cooperative based in the Cognac region, where he re-launched several producers such Polignac and Hardy.

Career highlights also include working as managing director of Burgundy producer and négociant, Laroche Wines.

Prior to that, he worked in various sales and marketing roles for luxury brands such as Chanel, L’Oréal Luxury Division and Cartier.

Nicolas Feuillatte is currently the third largest Champagne brand in the UK off-trade and number one best-selling Champagne brand in France.

As well as selling 2.4 million bottles globally in 2016, making it the third largest Champagne overall in the world, it is also the youngest of the Grandes Marques houses, after being founded in 1976.
