Wines of Portugal has announced the details of its 2016 annual tasting.
The tasting will offer visitors the opportunity to sample over a thousand wines from more than 130 producers across 11 regions.
New features this year include a self-pour, fast-track table, with one key wine from each exhibitor, providing visitors with a snapshot of flavours and trends.
There will also be an area highlighting wines in their first year of commercial release, named New Kids on the Block.
Seminars will be taking place throughout the day, with guest speakers including Ronan Sayburn MS discussing the on-trade, and Angela Mount talking about the off-trade.
Portugal was voted the world's must under-rated wine-producing country in an exclusive Harpers survey across both the on- and the off- trade earlier this year.
Portuguese wine exports to the UK rose 10% by volume and 23% by value in 2014.
White wine, in particular, has seen enormous growth, with a 12.9% increase in the value of sales and a 55.5% increase in volume, according to data from market analysts, Nielsen.
The tasting will take place on Wednesday, March 2 at RHS Lindley Hall, Elverton Street
London SW1P 2QW from 10am to 6pm.
