ProWein is ramping up its Champagne focus in 2014, with double the focus on the sparkling wine compared to last year.
The Champagne Lounge in Hall 7.1 extends over 300 square metres, with space for twice as many exhibitors as last year. Twenty five Champagne houses, among them Taittinger, will be exhibiting there., many of them for the first time.
In addition to individual stands there will be to tasting lounge-style tasting areas where 60 Champagnes will be available to try. Further Champagne suppliers are located in halls 3 to 6.
ProWein takes place from March 23 to 25 in Düsseldorf. A total of over 4,700 exhibitors from 50 countries will be exhibiting at the show, with representatives from all the world's wine producing nations and regions in attendance.
There are a number of newcomers to the spirits arena in Hall 7a - including the USA's Heaven Hill Distilleries and McCormick Distilling, which will be launching its Triple Crown Whiskey and Hooks Rum to the European market at the show. This year more than 400 spirits exhibitors from Germany, Europe and the New World will be exhibiting.
