Vinoteca has announced two new head chefs for its Marylebone and Farringdon operations, as well as an opening date for Vinoteca in Soho.
Both championing Modern British and European food; Daniel Richards will take over at Vinoteca in Marylebone, while John Cook returns as Farringdon's new head chef.
There is also a new opening date of May 14 for Vinoteca in Soho at 53-55 Beak Street, which will see head chef Will Leigh move across to from Vinoteca Marylebone.
Richards started out as a sous chef at Wapping Food and has spent time at The Gallery at Sketch and five years at St. John.
Cook spent five years in the kitchens at Eyre brothers under the likes of Jose Pizarro and Joao Cleto and has more recently spent time as head chef of Kentish Canteen, after moving from Vinoteca Farringdon.
Vinoteca is the creation of Brett Woonton, Charlie Young and Elena Ares, and is inspired by the wine bars of Spain and Italy.
It offers and option to take wine home, with 300 wines are available to buy at competitive retail prices.
The food offering aims to be simple yet imaginative and is made from fresh, seasonal produce.
