Faustino has made its first investment outside Spain by taking a ten per cent equity stake in UK agency Cellar Trends. Martin Watts, co-owner of Cellar Trends, said: I have known and worked with the Faustino family for over 20 years. Cellar Trends has almost doubled the Faustino volume in the UK over the past two years, and we are looking forward to continuing this.' Rutland-based Charles Hawkins Fine French and New World Wines was also boosted by investment from four of its partners earlier this year: Cheviot Bridge of Australia, Quinta do Portal of Portugal, Valentin Bianchi of Argentina and Cremaschi Furlotti of Chile. Both companies said there will be no changes to either their management or direction.
