Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits announces change of distributor

Published:  19 March, 2012

Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits announced a change of UK distributor from In-Spirit Global Brands to Cask Liquid Marketing, for its King's Ginger and Pink Pigeon rum.

Cask Liquid Marketing is a London-based consultancy and agency founded in April 2011 by Stuart Ekins and Richard 'Herb' Herbert, who have a combined 30 years experience in the drinks industry.

Peter Davie, sales director of Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits, says: "We would like to thank In-Spirit Global Brands team for their support over the past two years.

"However, with a shift in focus for both parties, core brands for Global who are streamlining to focus on a tighter portfolio to drive growth and scale, and super-premium positioning for Berry Bros. & Rudd Spirits, we agreed the time was right to conclude our arrangements."

Cask Liquid Marketing will assume distribution of the super-premium brands from April 1.

The King's Ginger  is a ginger liqueur that was specifically formulated by Berry Bros. in 1903 for King Edward VII.

Pink Pigeon Rum is the Single Estate Mauritian Rum infused with hand-picked natural bourbon vanilla from the Indian Ocean islands of Reunion and Madagascar.
