Ginger Joe set for TV debut

Alcoholic ginger beer Ginger Joe is making its TV debut next week, with a series of playful ads were customers are asked to donate hair to the mascot's moustache.

The 10 second Ginger Joe ads will play across a broad range of channels, as well as through on demand services.



The ad campaign is part of a £2 million investment focused on Ginger Joe's moustache, which was inspired by Stone's founder, Joseph Stone.



Neil Anderson, marketing controller at brand owner Accolade Wines, said: "Ginger Joe is really capturing the imagination of consumers and since this campaign began, Facebook likes have shot up, from 500 to over 20,000 in just three weeks. To build on this success we are launching the TV phase of this campaign which will appeal to our target consumer's sense of humour."
