Molson Coors adds premium wines

Molson Coors (UK) has added a premium wine dimension to its range, aimed at independent bars and restaurants.

The brewer has worked with suppliers such as Enotria, Constellation, Gallo and Bibendum to bolster its wine range to more than 700 products.

Sales director for the independent on-trade, Steve Ellis, said: "We have listened and collaborated with our customers, consulted category experts from across the wine industry and drawn on the expertise of our existing relationships with major brand owners.

"The result is a fantastic range of wines that we believe can add value to the consumer offer in today's challenging market place, ultimately driving incremental profit for our customers' businesses."

The company recently recruited experienced wine buyer Gary Keller to its team and says it can offer customers specialist advice and tailored packages.
