Agave sprits have been growing rapidly across the world in recent years. In the UK alone, sales volumes in the category experienced a positive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13% between 2018 and 2023, according to the IWSR. While this rate is expected to fall to a more modest 2% between 2023 and 2028, this still means that agave is outperforming much of the rest of the spirits market, in which many categories have declining sales.
