Kumala thinks inside the box

Also new from Constellation is a bag-in-box format for the UK's biggest South African brand, Kumala.

With value a key word in wine retailing these days, the box option is being released under the Cape Classics range as a cheaper option to bottles. Containing the equivalent of four 75cl bottles at the equivalent of £3.87 each, the product follows research showing so-called "routiners" - established wine drinkers who regularly indulge - who buy boxes as well as bottles, spend on average 87% more a year on wine.


Available in red and white, the white is designed to sit in the fridge door.
