Tarantas to be distributed in US and Europe

Published:  18 January, 2007

Natural Merchants has announced it is to distribute Tarantas Vibrant Organic Spanish Red Wine to the US and Europe.

Tarantas is produced by Bodegas Iranzo, Spain's oldest estate bottled winery, by renowned winemaker Paco Galbardn-Professor of Enology at Spain's oldest School of Enology.

Only the finest Tempranillo and Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon (Organic-ECOCERT 70% Tempranillo/30% Cabernet Sauvignon) wine grapes are selected from Spain's Oldest Estate Bottled Winery located in the Valencia wine-making region of Southeast Spain.

The Crianza wine is aged in a combination of French and American Oak Barrels for a minimum of six months.

Tarantas has enjoyed tremendous success over the past few years with the retail chain Whole Foods in the United States and United Kingdom, including obtaining the distinction as one of the best selling overall wines of the Whole Foods 2006 Fall Wine Promotion. The wine will continue to have its strong distribution through Whole Foods carried in stores throughout their 37 US markets.

"We are very excited to be able to offer Tarantas to distributors across North America and Europe," said Edward Field of Natural Merchants. "The brand has had great success partnering with Whole Foods and now many more fine wine retailers will be able to enjoy the quality of Tarantas."
