Among the big winners in the 2017 Guide were The Ritz, which gained a star for the first time and Mayfair's Veeraswamy - London's oldest Indian restaurant.
The new additions were: Fat Duck (three stars), Raby Hunt (two stars), The Ninth, Ellory, Pidgin, Five Fields, Trinity, Céleste, Veeraswamy, Ritz Restaurant, Crown, Tudor Room at Great Fosters Hotel, Forest Side, Peel's at Hampton Manor Hotel, Thomas Carr @ The Olive Room, The Wild Rabbit, Gilpin Hotel & Lake House, The Old Butchers, James Sommerin, Heron & Grey.
It wasn't good news for everyone however, with Launceston Place in Kensington, Wild Honey in Mayfair and L'Autre Pied in Marylebone all losing their one star status.
The Square in Mayfair, which previously held two stars, no longer features on the list.
There was wasn't much movement in the top bracket, with Gordon Ramsay's flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay on Royal Hospital Road, Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, and the Waterside Inn all holding onto their three-star titles.
Outside the capital, Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck regained three Michelin stars after being ineligible last year due to a temporary relocation.
The chef's Knightsbridge restaurant Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, kept its two Michelin stars along with along with Le Gavroche, Araki, and The Ledbury.
