Advocaat brand Warninks launches new liqueur

A white chocolate and mint vodka liqueur has been launched by advocaat producer Warninks, Warninks White.

The drink is designed to be consumed either neat or mixed with lemonade, and is aimed at a younger audience than the traditional Warninks advocaat. Brand owners William Grant claims the new liqueur is suitable for year round consumption, and will appeal to new consumers without alienating the core brand fans. Backed by a PR, social media and advertising campaign, these will run across the off trade throughout November. 

"Consumers favour brands that stay ahead of evolving trends and white chocolate and mint is an intriguing concept," said Paul Curry, brand manager for Warninks. "We know that as individual flavours, white chocolate and mint are hugely popular and we are confident that the combined flavours will be an attractive proposition for drinkers and shoppers. We're expecting this launch to create the kind of excitement the grocery market needs to ensure consistent year round sales opportunities for retailers." 

Warninks White is available in all Asda stores from October 23, with an rrp of £12.99.
