The Restaurant Show calls for registration

The Restaurant Show 2011 has announced a call for registration to this year's three-day event to be held in October at Earls Court.

This event held on October 10 - 12, will see the attendence 300+ exhibitors and leading suppliers, which will allow guests to product source wine, beer, spirits, tea & coffee, technological and catering equipment and tableware ranges.

Live events include a comprehensive programme of seminars and demonstrations that offers something for every establishment - from inspirational business advice, food-matching ideas to tips on how to create that winning drinks menu.

At the Drinks Quarter, David Hunter and Mike Walpole from The Wine & Spirit Education Trust will take visitors through the systematic tasting approach and then challenge them to prove their skills in a blind taste test.

Peter McCombie MW, will share his insights on how getting the service and selling techniques spot on can help get the most out of wine to drive profitability.

Tim Atkin MW taps in to the 'New Classics' and discusses the great wine regions of tomorrow and wine manager of The Savoy, Christopher Cooper, will share his success as he takes visitors through his journey of opening a restaurant to talks about  today's trends and what consumers are looking for.
