A wheaty witte

Published:  03 April, 2009

Daas, a small Belgian micro-brewery, has launched Daas Organic Witte, a premium wheat beer onto the UK market.

Established in 2001, Daas strictly upholds Belgian brewing traditions dating back over 900 years and have gained a reputation on the domestic market for creating premium hand-crafted beers.

Naturally cloudy, the Daas Organic Witte is bottle conditioned, undergoing a second fermentation in the bottle, which contributes to the flavour and ensures the liquid remains stable for longer than a pasturised beer.

Targeted at the premium end of the market Daas Witte 330cl has an ABV of 5% a rrp of £2.50 and is currently distributed in selected bars and retailers.
