Job title: On-Trade Executive

Location: Office based - London Victoria

Reports to: On-Trade Director

Salary: Competitive - plus targeted performance bonus and 28 days holiday

Family-owned Group, Vranken-Pommery Monopole seeks an On Trade Executive for its UK subsidiary, based in London. 

The Group’s portfolio includes champagne Houses (Pommery, Heidsieck & Co. Monopole, Charles Lafitte, Vranken, Diamant and Demoiselle), still wines from Provence (Chateau La Gordonne) and the Camargue (Domaine Royal de Jarras), Port and still wines from the Douro Valley (Rozès, Sao Pedro and Terras do Grifo) as well as sparkling wines from England and California.

Purpose of role:

To manage the strategic development of VPM brands in the On Trade by growing sales within existing customer accounts, supporting staff education programmes, along with new business development in the prestige On Trade sector

Job role:

  • Grow sales/mix/distribution by implementing clear action plans as set by VPUK and effective management, with an emphasis on premium/luxury prospects
  • Consistently create and realise new customer opportunities through planned prospecting and networking  in line with On Trade customer and portfolio priorities
  • Ensure consistently high customer service after sales standards, particularly when taking on new business
  • Work within consistent and defensible commercial guidelines for new business and business development
  • Be a brand ambassador for Pommery and all Vranken brands throughout the On Trade channel as well as at key events throughout the year
