The Champagne Academy appoints new chairman

Published:  19 March, 2018

The Champagne Academy has appointed Marcus Little as its chairman for 2018.

Little, who takes over from Kevin Skeet, works as a commercial manager (UK) for Enoitalia – the largest independent winery in Italy, with his career in the wine industry having included stints with Matthew Clark, Harrods and The Savoy.

“I am thrilled to be the new chairman and can’t wait to build on Kevin’s great work last year, raising awareness of the Academy,” said Little, who takes on his new role with immediate effect.

“I am already planning an exciting year ahead and am looking forward to working with the Presidential House Louis Roederer to organise some great events for 2018,” he added.

Founded in 1956 to enhance the knowledge about Champagne in the UK drinks industry, the Academy has more than 600 Academicians and a schedule of events and tastings throughout the year.
