Mangrove appoints new account manager
On the back of company expansion spirits specialist Mangrove has announced the appointment of Andy Balsillie as account manager for Leeds and the surrounding area.
On the back of company expansion spirits specialist Mangrove has announced the appointment of Andy Balsillie as account manager for Leeds and the surrounding area.
Balsillie joins from Pernod Ricard, where he has been an account manager for the past four years. Prior to that he has worked in and managed bars over a 12-year period in Edinburgh, Dublin, London and Leeds.
In his role he will support the growth of the business to gain new distribution and volume of the Mangrove portfolio by working closely with premium on trade accounts.
Head of Mangrove Nick Gillet said the appointment of Balsillie will allow the company to announce further recruitment of both people and brands in the near future. "Andy is a great addition to the team. He will work alongside the excellent people already in place here and is the next part in the expansion of Mangrove," he said.
Mangrove is a fully autonomous division of Coe Vintners designed to nurture a portfolio of specialist spirits and liqueurs aimed at on-trade, independent and multiple off-trade retailers and the UK duty-free market.
