Paris-inspired Grand Marnier limited edition bottle launched for Christmas

Published:  18 November, 2013

Diageo has launched a limited edition bottle for its Cognac and orange liqueur Grand Marnier based on the designs of the famous Parisien architect, Georges-Eugène Haussmann.

Diageo said the bottle "pays homage to Georges-Eugène Haussmann, the infamous architect and designer commissioned by Napoleon III to re-design much of central Paris".

The red gift box highlights the address: Grand Marnier, 91 Boulevard Haussmann, while the label resembles a Parisian street sign.

The 2013 limited edition bottle will be available in luxury retailers across the UK including Harvey Nichols. The RRP is £26.05 for a 70cl bottle.

Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve Brands, GB said: "The 2013 limited edition bottle shows the special bond that Grand Marnier has with Paris, and will provide retailers with a beautiful Christmas gift, helping them to capitalise on the current growth of premium spirits. It is the perfect ingredient for luxury Christmas cocktails."
