The wine industry's first ever rock band, Skin Côntact, took the wine trade by storm on Monday night on stage at London's Vinopolis wowing the audience and helping to raise over £10,000 for Wine Relief, the wine trade's initiative for Comic Relief.

The wine industry's first ever rock band, Skin Côntact, took the wine trade by storm on Monday night on stage at London's Vinopolis wowing the audience and helping to raise over £10,000 for Wine Relief, the wine trade's initiative for Comic Relief.
The stars of the evening included the band members Richard Hemming on keyboards, Alex Hunt MW, Berkmann Wines on lead guitar, Ben Smith of Concha y Toro on bass, Matt James founder of The Bordeaux Cellar, on drums and Anne McHale MW of Berry Bros & Rudd and PR star, Helen Chesshire on backing vocals.
The guest lead singers covering classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s included Tim Atkin MW, Charles Metcalfe, Anne Jones, David Williams, Ewan Murray, Lucy Britner and Joe Wadsack.
Over 300 tickets were sold as part of the fundraising effort as well as 832 raffle tickets being sold.
