Boutique RumFest and RumFest unveil programme for October events

RumFest, which celebrates its tenth year this year, and the Boutique RemFest, which is a trade only event, will be hosted in London at the end of October.

The trade-only Boutique RumFest will be hosted on Friday 21st October, 2016. RumFest, which is open to consumers will be the following two days on 22nd and 23rd October. Both events will be held at London;s Earl's Court, ILEC Conference Centre.

"When we launched 10 years ago we could never have imagined how successful RumFest would become. For us rum has always been a way of life and we're thrilled to still be spreading the word and celebrating the spirit a decade on. We've got something for everyone this year with even more rums, tastings and talks as we hope to make RumFest 2016 one to remember for rum-lovers up and down the country," said Ian Burrell, global rum ambassador who launched the Boutique RumFest.

The consumer event is set to host masterclasses, seminars and workshops over the two with brands, ambassadors and experts will educated people on a variety of topics from different productions methods to food and rum pairings to cigar and rum pairings.

There will also be mixologists to help inspire and teach people about the potential of rum as a base spirit and how to make the most of it in cocktails.

Additionally there will be a Rum Auction on Sunday, which is sponsored by Christie's auction house, where rare rums will be sold taking money for charity.
