The trade tasting which is aimed exclusivity at independents in the on and off-trade returns to England and Manchester next week.
Over 70 exhibitors including specialist importers, boutique wineries and agencies will descend on the autumn edition of the Specialist Importers Trade Tasting (SITT) in London on September 21 and Manchester on September 19, offering the trade the opportunity to discover new wines and new producers to add to their portfolios.
The event aims to respond to demands from the independent sector for more focused tastings and provide opportunities for indies to differentiate their wine lists.
Visitors will be able to sample from over 75 sparkling wines for their pre-Christmas wine lists and find wines from countries including Iberia, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal.
SITT Autumn will also include the Emerging Regions Tasting (ERT) Zone, where visitors can find out more about wines from lesser-known regions.
Visitors will also be able to take part in a number of exclusive Wine Walks, with industry experts taking them on a whistle-stop tour of some of the zone's "top picks".
Wine writer Simon Woods will lead the tours in Manchester and restaurant wine consultant and IWC co-chairman Peter McCombie MW will be hosting the London tours.
