Santa Rita signs three year partnership deal with Arsenal FC

Viña Santa Rita signed a three year partnership deal with Arsenal Football Club to become the official wine partner of the Premier League team.

"We are delighted to form a partnership with a club as prestigious as Arsenal. This not only opens up new possibilities for the Chilean wine industry but also provides a platform from which we can reach all corners of the globe with our Santa Rita wines. As two widely recognised global brands Santa Rita and Arsenal share many common values," said the executive vice chairman of the Santa Rita Estates board of directors, Baltazar Sánchez.

Santa Rita 120 is a global brand with sales exceeding 6.5 million cases. 

Santa Rita will include the Arsenal FC as part of the the Living la Vida 120 marketing campaign with the new campaign being launched in key markets in Latin America, Asia. Europe and Africa.

As part of the larger deal with the football club, Santa Rita wines will be served at match days held at Emirates Stadium. The brand will also provided access as part of the deal to Arsenal's first-team players to develop and create content as well as have access to Arsenal's online platforms.

Arsenal Football Club has 7.5 million followers on Twitter and 36.3 million 'likes' on Facebook.

Football Club sponsorship deals by wine brands are proving to be a new avenue several brands are pursuing in an effort to reach a broader and more global consumer base.  

Recently,Treasury Wine Estates' brand Wolf Blass signed a multi-year partnership with Manchester City Football Club.
