Glenfiddich launches online Gallery giving whisky connoisseurs access to rare malts

Glenfiddich has launched a new online service which gives whisky fans and collectors access to rare and unreleased single malts from its collection.

Glenfiddich has launched a new online service which gives whisky fans and collectors access to rare and unreleased single malts from its collection.

The Glenfiddich Gallery, a new online portal which gives whisky lovers exclusive access to a remarkable collection of the Glenfiddich's rare and unreleased single malts.

In what Glenfiddich claims is a "first for the whisky industry" the new portal gives whisky connoisseurs the chance to explore a range of whiskies that have been put together by the distillery's Malt Master Brian Kinsman.

They can also use interactive elements on the site to assess their own whisky palate and then get recommendations based on what whisky would most suit their taste profile by answering four questions. Users can also personalise bottles and packaging to create their own unique signature bottles.

The whiskies on offer include those finished in Bordeaux and rum casks, others in sherry butts and refill bourbon barrels.

Here people can access some of our finest private collection whiskies chosen for its unique taste profile or innovative finish. I'm confident whisky lovers will enjoy the gallery experience as much as we've enjoyed creating it."

The Glenfiddich Gallery was launched this week at a special London tasting by  David, Kinsman, Ian Millar, Glenfiddich global brand ambassador, Mark Thomson, Glenfiddich UK brand ambassador and Kirsten Grant Meikle, William Grant & Sons director of prestige.
