How do I sign up to the Responsibility Deal?

Visit the Department of Health's Responsibility Deal's website to read more about the deal, who's already signed up and what you need to do.

You've got to agree to the five core commitments and supporting pledges, acknowledging your business has an important role to play in improving health, and that you will promote the deal to others, work together and develop additional pledges that go further than the minimum required.

Once you agree, you must comply with as many collective declarations as you can (at least one)- these may include other pledges such as health at work. Individual pledges over and above the minimum must be agreed with the head of the network. Once finalised, individual pledge proposals should be submitted to the Department of Health by emailing rdalcoholnetwork@dh.gsi.gov.uk.
