Taste the IWC Gold winning wines
For the second year running the International Wine Challenge will host A Taste of Gold at Lord's Cricket Ground in London.
This event takes places on June 29 (2pm-5pm) and showcases the high quality of Gold winning wines awarded during the competition.
It also provides a first opportunity for the trade to taste the wines that have been awarded Regional and National Trophies by the IWC judges. An announcement of the trophy winners will take place at 2.30pm.
An added attraction for merchants and sommeliers is the Discovery Tastings sponsored by Naked Wines, showcasing over 500 medal winning wines that do not yet have UK representation.
IWC judges from the International Wine Challenge will be attending the tasting, including IWC co-chairmen Tim Atkin MW, Charles Metcalfe, Sam Harrop MW, Derek Smedley MW and Oz Clarke.
