Nordic deal for Castle spirits
Castle Brands Spirits has signed a distribution deal with Norwegian-based Arcus for its brands in the Nordic region.
The Castle Brands portfolio includes Gosling's rum, Boru vodka, Clontarf Irish whiskey, Jefferson's Bourbon and Betts and Scholl wines.
Conor O hAonghusa, export director for Castle's international division, said: "This represents an exciting opportunity to combine the consumer appeal of our premium brands with Arcus' strong Nordic region distribution network.
"In particular, Clontarf, which already has a solid and growing footprint with listings in Sweden, Finland and Norway, will benefit from the new distribution network."
Hans Petter Evensen, director of international sales at Arcus, said: "By joining forces in the Nordic market, the two companies will also have the chance to look to the future for further ways to collaborate."
