Corby Distilleries has extending a deal to act as agent for Stolichanya Russian vodka in Canada for another five years.

Corby has represented the SPI premium vodka brand since 2002.

The deal also covers the Moskovskya vodka brand.

Corby has also extended a deal with Ireland's C&C International to handle Carolans Irish Cream for an extra three years.

But Corby has lost the Canadian rights to a package of Beam Global brands, including Courvoisier Cognac. The contract will end on April 19.

Corby president and ceo Con Constandis said: "In concert with the brands we represent for Pernod Ricard under a long-term agreement, the changes streamline our agency portfolio, allowing us to focus on the best opportunities for both value growth and strategic leverage behind our own portfolio."

Corby's Canadian portfolio includes Absolut, Chivas Regal, Ballantine's and Beefeater.
