Winebow aims to grow LiV sales
Long Island Spirits has signed a deal for Winebow to distribute its LiV vodka in six US states.
Winebow, which is the third largest drinks distributor in New York State, will handle LiV in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC.
Richard Driscoll, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Winebow, described LiV - an artisanal, ultra-premium potato vodka, retailing for around US$38 a bottle - as "one of the most exciting brands I have seen in the last 10 years".
LiV was launched last June and is sold in 400 New York outlets.
Long Island president Richard Stabile said: "Winebow's talented and knowledgeable sales team is uniquely-qualified to market a hand-sell product like LiV."
Winebow spirits director Scott Tallon added: "Artisanal brands have emerged as the fastest growth segment in the spirits market."
