Troy Kalleske wins Barossa Winemaker of the Year

Troy Kalleske has been announced as Winemaker of the Year by the Barons of the Barossa.
The presentation took place at the 2008 Declaration of the Vintage.
He said: "My dream has been to capture the essence of the vines that six generations of Kalleskes have tended in a bottle. And hopefully, my brother Tony and I have done that with Kalleske Wines. It is a great honour to accept this award."
Justin Liddle, sales and marketing director at Stokes Fines Wines - UK distributor for Kalleske Wines - said Troy consistently produced "wines of immense character and distinction".
